US Free Speech Clashes with Chinese Censorship | US Citizens Under Corporate China Rule?

American freedom of expression and Chinese cultural sensitivity clashed across a variety of industry's over the course of a week. It started when Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey tweeted an image in support of the Hong Kong Protesters. China began cutting ties despite the NBA's attempts to respectfully exempt itself from responsibility. Popular American animated Cartoon South Park had its latest episode banned in China, as it hurled satirical criticism at the Chinese Communist Party. A Top Esports player was striped of admission in further tournaments and his prize money for shouting in support of Hong Kong.
