Donald Trump said Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead after a U.S. military raid in northern Syria that left the Islamic State leader “in utter fear, in total panic and dread” in his final moments. Trump said other countries should now fight Islamic State.

President Donald Trump confirmed on Sunday that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi died during a raid by U.S. special forces in Syria.

Baghdadi takes his own life while US Special Forces in hot pursuit so what does his DEATH mean?

Twitter Employees Charged with Spying for Saudi Arabia

On Wednesday evening the Washington Post reported that two former Twitter employees are being charged with spying for Saudi Arabia. This is the first time federal prosecutors charged the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of using agents in the US, after the employees allegedly accessed the company’s information on dissidents using the platform. This news comes not long after the Middle East Eye published a story claiming a senior Twitter executive with editorial responsibility for covering the Middle East was revealed to be a part time officer in the British Army psychological warfare unit.

Former Acting CIA Director John McLaughlin, on a panel with former CIA Director John Brennan, responded to a question about whether the "deep state" was trying to take out President Trump with a quote, "thank God for the deep state."
