Reports show 61 Palestinian Protesters on the Border in the Gaza Strip have been Murdered by Israeli troops, while still in the land of Palestine.
"Here’s a split-screen for our times: While Israeli troops were killing dozens of Palestinian protesters in Gaza on Monday, Trump administration representatives were 50 miles away in Jerusalem, celebrating with Israeli officials the opening of the U.S. Embassy there and praising their mutual devotion to peace." - WP
While the numbers hitting the high 50's to the low 60's in the number of Dead Palestinians; you may ask "How Israel is a state of peace?" The answer being that they truly just have an Apartheid system for the Palestinians and that fact, easily shows.
Monday, May 14th, 2018 signifies 70 years since Israel invaded the land of Palestine to set up their Government and Rule.
Names and Faces of Those Killed by Israeli Forces On May 14th in Gaza
Nobel Peace Prize winner; Doctors Without Borders (MSF) even placed a statement out about the Massacre, saying: "What happened today is unacceptable and inhuman. The death toll provided this evening by Gaza health authorities—55 dead and 2,271 wounded—including 1,359 wounded with live ammunition, is staggering. It is unbearable to witness such a massive number of unarmed people being shot in such a short time.
Our medical teams are working around the clock, as they have done since April 1, providing surgical and postoperative care to men, women, and children, and they will continue to do so tonight, tomorrow, and as long as they are needed. In one of the hospitals where we are working, the chaotic situation is comparable to what we observed after the bombings of the 2014 war, with a colossal influx of injured people in a few hours, completely overwhelming the medical staff. Our teams carried out more than 30 surgical interventions today, sometimes on two or three patients in the same operating theater, and even in the corridors.
This bloodbath is the continuation of the Israeli army’s policy during the last seven weeks: shooting with live ammunition at demonstrators, on the assumption that anyone approaching the separation fence is a legitimate target. Most of the wounded will be condemned to suffer lifelong injuries.
As new demonstrations are announced for tomorrow, the Israeli army must stop its disproportionate use of violence against Palestinian protesters." - Doctors Without Borders (MSF)
So while the United States' Federal Government chooses the Israeli side on Jerusalem saying they are the best Democratic Government in the Middle East, the Apartheid System they impose actually breaks the UN's Crimes Against Humanity. Israel is not even a signatory to the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and its arsenal has never been inspected by any international agency.
But still our U.N. Security Council stays "deeply divided" on how to even stop the violence by our Ally? While Nikki Haley likes to blame Hamas for the "massacre"; it was Israeli Soldiers shooting into a Protest. Even Haley Peirce; Britain's ambassador to the UN is stating that they would back an inquiry (independent study) into the Gaza Protest Massacre, but that inquiry the United States' Federal Government's UN Diplomats blocked.
"The Security Council expresses its outrage and sorrow at the killing of Palestinian civilians exercising their right to peaceful protest," read a draft of the statement, a copy of which was seen by AFP.
"The Security Council calls for an independent and transparent investigation into these actions to ensure accountability," read the text.
"In the bloodiest day in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict since a 2014 Gaza war, at least 55 Palestinians were killed in the clashes and more than 2,400 Palestinians wounded.
They erupted before Israeli officials and a White House delegation including President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka formally opened the embassy in Jerusalem, and the bloodshed continued throughout the day.
The dead included eight children under the age of 16, according to the Palestinian envoy to the United Nations. The Gazan health ministry provided the overall death and injury toll." - France24
"The Security Council expresses its grave concern regarding recent developments in the Palestinian territory occupied by Israel since 1967, including East Jerusalem, particularly in the context of the peaceful protests in the Gaza Strip and the tragic loss of civilian lives," the draft statement read.
"Ms Pierce said that the estimated 2,700 people injured by Israeli troops included 1,300 hit by live ammunition. The violence spread as Israeli and American dignitaries, including President Trump’s daughter Ivanka, marked the controversial move of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem." - The Times
With all this said though, the United States' Federal Government is sticking up for Israel, backtracking any issues with over 60+ dead Palestinians' blood on their Soldiers' hands; as Nikki Haley says sternly "Who among us would accept this type of activity on your border?", referring to some protestors attempting to storm Israel's border. "No country in this chamber would act with more restraint than Israel has."
The United States' UN Representatives walked out of the UN as Palestinian envoy began speaking; showing distinctly who's side this administration is on. Not the indigenous people of Palestine; but the Empire Of Israel.
