Trump escorted out of press briefing, returns after shooting outside White House | UPDATED

President Donald Trump was rushed out of the White House briefing room Monday evening and later said the Secret Service had shot someone near the White House.

UPDATE: The United States Secret Service placed out this statement : “The investigation into a USSS officer involved shooting is ongoing. A male subject and a USSS officer were both transported to a local hospital. At no time during this incident was the White House complex breached or were any protectees in danger.”
