Ohio's Governor Dick DeWine started his Press Conference on August 7, 2020 by virtue signalling the wearing of a mask. He went over how Donald Trump called him to congratulate him- that he unlike most Americans- Dick DeWine had the opportunity to get a 2nd and then a 3rd COVID-19 Test which showed he was actually Negative for the virus. The First Test DeWine took which was to see if he could be with the President while he was in the State of Ohio on August 6, 2020- came back Positive and DeWine was ready to set fort in his home for 14 days of quarantine.
It only took Governor DeWine 6 hours to learn that the first test was a false positive- also unlike any other American who has to wait days or even weeks to learn the results- both of his PCR tests only took that 6 hour period.
Dick DeWine states the First test that was done, was an Anti-Gen Test - this is the test that rang up as a false positive. He then states that the Second and Third tests were PCR Tests- a test he loves to call the "Gold Standard Test" as he later states he's bias as he loves the negative test result.
His Guest, Dr. Peter Mohler then goes over the different tests. Peter Mohler states that the Anti-Gen test which is used to see if people should be around the President can produce false-negatives and false-positives; as the Anti-Gen tests don't look at the Genetic Material to determine if you're positive but instead looks at the protein on the surface of the virus. Anti-Gen Tests can result in false positives 30-66%. (Also therefore False Negative, the Manufacturer of the test says it has a 100% Specificity Rate & the FDA says it has a 97% sensitivity rate.)
In Ohio 90% of the Citizens have had the PCR Test- the total according to Dr. Mohler on how many have been tested in Ohio- is 1.6 Million People- so that would be 1.44 Million been given a PCR Test and 160,000 been given a different type of test. In the hospitals Point Of Care Tests are usually administered and both of these tests- the Point Of Care Tests and the PCR look at the Genetic Material.
PCR Tests can result in false positives 15-20% but can also result in a Positive Result up to 3 months of no longer having the virus. (Also therefore False Negative - Dr. Mohler says it can at least show you still have the virus after a week of no longer having the virus. He says this by saying it can tell them you are positive after having it 20 days- but quarantine for the sick is only 14 days.)
31 minutes in Governor Dick DeWine explains "We've been talking to a company that is, (corrects himself) been done doing more talking we've entered a contract with them. A company that uses saliva, uh it's a California company- the saliva- it can be administered the advantage it has, uh- is a number of people that self-administered- for people who can do that. Uh, you can do it in a group and people would do it and then it gets mailed to California then comes back." then 57 minutes into the Press Conference Mike DeWine retracts this statement saying "We have not entered into a contract." - These tests he's signed a contract into are according to Mike DeWine the same type of tests that he is claiming gave him a "False Positive".
In the State of Ohio according to Governor DeWine we only have a 5.5-5.6% Positive Rate of all of the people tested- Dr. Mohler states that Anti-Gen tests usually come up as a False Negative- the same test that's being claimed in Governor DeWine's "False Positive" scenario- therefore contradicting his earlier statements that it can come up both.
The doctor denied to comment on if the PCR Tests are more likely to come up False Positive or False Negative; saying "I won't get into much of the science. Some have false positives and some have false negatives." and he left it there. He later does state the PCR is a "snapshot of time" and then clarifies that it can say you are positive if someone has had it 20 days ago- which contradicts his snapshot of time analogy.
Dr. Peter Mohler then clarifies "No test is 100%, no test is ever gonna be 100%."
The question is, why do we have mandates and quarantine rules in place if only 5.5-5.6% of people are tested positive? This question was asked, but Dick DeWine never answered it directly. Throughout the United States coronavirus only has a 1.3% Death Rate and that's a percentage not ruling out the false positives that are also tallied on. It is clear these tests ARE NOT 100% and like Doctor Mohler said, THEY NEVER WILL BE! We need to stop letting false positive tests rule our lives and see this "Pandemic" is nothing but a scientific experiment on us- like we are SUBJECTS.
